Operation Cork Board

Project: Cork Board Wall

There was blood, there was sweat, there was tears (mostly sweat in Florida) but my room is finally clean. I had talked about doing this project and decided to set it immediately into action. It started with an idea to have a cork board wall because I've always wanted to do a whole Beautiful Mind thing with notes everywhere. However, I hate clutter so here is a much more aesthetically pleasing option.

The Inspiration

I found these four tiny pots from Hobby Lobby on sale for a dollar and from there the idea took shape. Lowes provided me with tiny succulents a low price.

 (Note I went with spray paint to get a more textured look versus an even flat color #thanksrust-oleum)

The Final Result

In the end it was a super simple project that didn't take long at all. Just a morning, some rolls of cork board, spray paint and an idea.

I absolutely love how the results came out. I cannot wait for the next idea!
